Always been active - Always been an outdoorsman
I come from a close-knit family with parents who encouraged lots of outdoors
activity. Needless to say, it worked for me. I believe that’s what led me to my profession today. A lot of my time was spent sitting on a horses back. Riding, showing, & training is a sure fired, first class
lesson in patience. Along with horses came horse judging. I judged local, state, & nationally through 4-H. I believe
that if you spend a lot of time at just about anything, listening, and learning, you will do well. That being said,
I was fortunate enough, with tons of hard work, to succeed in my pursuits. In
my highschool years I also became involved in martial arts. Once again a highly skilled person came into my life
who has taught me a whole other level of patience in the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. My level of knowlege has increased
through his mentoring and I am now a licensed cornerman for MMA & am pursuring my MMA/Jiu-Jitsu Referee License. Diversifying is good thing. Along with my Guide Service, I also work within our family’s
business. I am a 3rd generation Cabinet Maker and proud of it. Fishing is my heart is now. Growing up, my family’s relaxing times were heading south, fishing the bays &
flats along the Texas Coast. Fishing the salt water is addicting, fun, frustrating at times, but all together rewarding. Fishing with kids is great. It gives me a kick to see their grins & excitement
when they hook a fish. Through horses & 4-H I have spent a lot of time working with youth & always welcome families
fishing together.

I learn a lot from my clients. Hopefully I am able to share some of my knowledge
with them too. Catching fish is awesome, that's what you hire me for, but the experience that I get spending time with
so many different people is extremely rewarding.
